You are being hit with temptations, trials, and troubles from many sources. There have always been temptations—from the first two boys, Cain and Abel, to the present.The devil knows that his time is short, and he is doing all he can to discourage any believer and especially you — our young people.

MTV, internet, rock-n-roll music, etc.— The devil is using anything he can to pull people down. At Soaring As Eagles Magazine for Teens, we desire to pull you up. When a teen comes home and runs to his room, shrinks his head into his headphones and shuts out the world, shuts out his mother and his father who put clothes on his back and a roof over his head and food on his table and spends time and money on his education—only the devil could get them to think so little of their families. Young people are teaming up with the devil’s crowd rather than the ones who truly love them.

My heart goes out to you — the young person. Our desire is to encourage every teenager we can with this newsletter to love God and to stay away from sin and friends that would lead them into sin.
